    The invention relates to a color card with several interconnected sheets, each having a plurality of color fields.
    Color cards are used, for example, when performing painting work so that the customer gets a quick overview of the different possible colors and can choose between them. Often it is also desirable to hold the colors in question in front of the surface to be painted, so that the customer gets a better impression of the respective color. In the case of conventional color cards which have a plurality of sheets connected to one another, each of which has a multiplicity of color fields and are folded together, in particular in the manner of a fanfold book, the color card is unfolded at the appropriate point and held against the background. However, the individual color fields do not reach the edge of the respective sheet, so that the comparison is impaired. The handling of the color card is also relatively cumbersome.
    Color cards with pivotally connected sheets, so-called color fans, are also known, and a respective sheet containing the color tones to be examined can be pivoted out. If the hues in question are distributed over two or more sheets, handling is also difficult here or a simultaneous comparison of the hues in question against the background is only possible to a limited extent.
    Also known are containers in which cards are sorted, each having a color. The cards with the colors in question can be removed and held against the background to be painted. Here, however, correct re-sorting of the removed cards is particularly difficult.
    DE 19 62 766 U shows a color card with cards held individually in pockets, which have different colors. Removing and re-sorting the cards with the desired colors is also difficult here.
    The object of the invention is to provide an advantageous color card of the type mentioned, which enables an advantageous comparison of the colors in question with a surface, wherein easy handling is achieved. This is achieved according to the invention by means of a color card with the features of claim 1.
    In the color card according to the invention, carriers are available, each having a plurality of color fields. The straps are removably attached to the interconnected sheets of the color card. If different color tones are to be compared with the background, at least one carrier which has the color fields with the color tones in question can be removed and held against the background.
    [0008] Usually, after a rough selection of a color, a selection must be made from the various possible shades of this color. A respective carrier can have different hues of a specific color as color fields. If the rough selection of the color has been made, it may therefore be sufficient to remove only one or a few supports with the respective multiple color fields from the sheets in order to carry out the fine selection in front of the relevant surface. This makes handling much easier. The later re-sorting of the removed carriers is possible with little effort.
    The holder of the color fields carrier on the leaves is carried out in an advantageous embodiment in that the leaves have pockets in which insertion portions of the carrier are inserted. In this case, the carriers can themselves be designed in sheet form. The color fields can advantageously be arranged on the front sides of cards glued to the supports. These cards are conveniently only glued to the respective carrier over part of their length and lie in the region of the free part of their length in the state of the carrier connected to the leaves outside the pocket into which the respective carrier is inserted. Here, a top layer of the pocket lies between the free part of the length of the card and the insertion section of the carrier. The cards with color fields can thus remain visible over their entire length even when the carrier is inserted.
    Other types of removable holders of the carrier on the leaves are conceivable and possible, for example by means of Velcro fasteners or push buttons.
    At least three, preferably at least four, particularly preferably six or more color fields are advantageously arranged on a respective carrier.
    [0012] For example, the sheets can be folded into a fanfold book. Other connections between the sheets are also conceivable and possible, for example in the manner of a book. The sheets could also be connected to one another so as to be pivotable about an axis perpendicular to the sheet planes, so that a kind of color fan is formed.
    A possible embodiment provides that only a single color field carrier is removably attached to each sheet.
    Further advantages and details of the invention are explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings.     An embodiment of a color card according to the invention is shown in Figs. 1-7. The color card has a plurality of sheets 1 which are connected to one another and which, in the exemplary embodiment, can be folded together in the manner of a leporello book, that is to say like an accordion. For example, the sheets can have a somewhat thicker carrier layer made of cardboard and be connected to one another by a thinner paper layer. Creases between the sheets can also be formed, for example, by scoring.
    Carrier 2 are detachably connected to the leaves 1. The carrier 2 are made of paper, cardboard or a plastic layer and are thus sheet-shaped. The removable connection of the carrier 2 with the sheets 1 is explained in more detail below.
    On a respective carrier 2, a plurality of cards 11 are attached, in particular glued, which have color fields 3. The front sides of these cards 11 facing the user in the opened state of the color card are printed with different colors for this purpose, preferably over their entire extent.
    For the detachable connection of the carrier 2 to the sheets 1, the sheets 1 each have a pocket 4, into which an insertion section 5 of the carrier 2 to be connected to the sheet 1 can be inserted.
    To form the pockets 4 of the sheets 1, a respective sheet 1 has a carrier layer 6 and a cover layer 7. The cover layer 7 is then glued circumferentially to the carrier layer 6 at its side edges. The side edges of the top layer 7 and the carrier layer 6 can be congruent as shown.
    The cover layer 7 is further provided with an insertion slot 8, through which the insertion section 5 can be inserted into the space between the carrier layer 6 and the cover layer 7.
    A pocket into which the insertion section 5 can be inserted can also be designed in a different way. For example, the top layer 7 could be formed by a strip which is glued to the top layer 7 in a U-shape in the region of its side edges, one side edge (which is where the insertion slot 8 is located in the exemplary embodiment) remaining free.
    The cards 11 having the color fields 3 are only glued to the respective carrier 2 over part 9 of their length and free over the remaining part 10 of their length. The cards 11, if the carrier 2 is not attached to the sheet 1, then rest on their glued part 9 on the insertion section 5 of the carrier 2, without being attached to it.
    If the carrier 2 is inserted with its insertion section 8 into the pocket 4, the free parts 10 of the cards 11 can be located outside the pocket 4, above the cover layer 7. The cover layer 7 is thus between the free part 10 of the length of the respective card and the insertion section 5 of the carrier 2.
    If a specific color, for example for painting a wall, is to be selected, the carrier 2 with the desired color tones can be removed from the respective sheets 1 and held in front of the surface to be provided with the color. The color fields 3 of a respective carrier can be graded colors (different shades of one color). As a result, a comparison can be made in a very simple manner between the different graded shades, with only a single carrier having to be removed for this.
    The cards 11 advantageously protrude beyond the insertion section 5 of the carrier (ie extend in relation to the insertion direction beyond the insertion section 5 of the carrier) and have gaps between them. The color fields 3 extend into these areas, which protrude beyond the insertion section 5, preferably up to the side edges of the cards 11. The respective color field 3 is thus surrounded by the background color in an area on three sides, which enables a good comparison.
    Different modifications of the embodiment shown are conceivable and possible without leaving the scope of the invention. For example, the connection of the sheets 1 to one another could take place in a different way. For example, the sheets 1 could be connected to one another in the manner of an ordinary book, so that the user can turn between the different sheets 1. A pivotable connection, for example in a corner area, about an axis perpendicular to the sheet planes is also conceivable and possible, as a result of which a type of color fan could be formed.
    The removable attachment of the carrier 2 on the sheets 1 could be done in different ways. For example, it would be conceivable and possible to hold the carrier 2 on the sheets 1 by means of Velcro fasteners or by means of push buttons.
    In the exemplary embodiment, each carrier 2 has eight color fields 3. This number could also be larger or smaller, a number of at least three being advantageous and at least four color fields 3 being preferred.
    Basically conceivable and possible, it would also be possible for the supports 2 to be printed directly with the color fields 3. In this case, it would be favorable so that as much as possible of the color fields 3 remains visible in the connected state of the carrier 2 with the leaves 1 if the insertion depth is kept rather small or the cards are attached to the leaves 1 in a different way than by inserting them takes place, for example by means of Velcro fasteners.
